New Ex Army Tractor owner from England

Thanks for the welcome.

It will be doing runs with my little lad up and down the tracks etc. The hope is he can mess with a tipping trailer and steer her.

The hope is to keep it and possibly show her locally at events. A Massey enthusiast who gave me initial advice said that we don't see lots of these industrial tractors at local shows. Lots of grey fergies, 35's and newer ones.

I hope to get her straight and painted back in the army green livery. At the minute I don't know if it was a basic tractor with the army or a forklift tractor.

I have military vehicles and have some threads on a military vehicle forum here in UK.

I have seen a parts and service manual on eBay, but they seem a little expensive for reproductions. However right now I don't know how rare they actually are????

I guess joining forums is the best place to start with these kind of questions.

The little lad will be a strapping big rugby player before you blink three times. Enjoy your project with him each day.

How right you are ........ Everyday is special ...... However he will always be my little boy, even when he's that strapping fully grown man ... :)

If you can find out what the military technical manual number was for the tractor you might be able to search that way.

If you can't get the Military green you could always go for British Racing green!

I have the NSN codes for these tractors Light and Heavy but that was just the MoD contract reference for that production run / model.

Deep Bronze Green is very common here in Blighty. It was also the standard colour for Land Rovers post war ..... Cheers m8
