Oil & Fuel Fuel filter on CK20 and adding lubricant to the road diesel.

Found the o-ring, but the 33389 filter has almost the same problem as the 3389, it will not fit over the nipple sticking out of the housing. Guess I am calling a dealer this week and ask them to measure a Kioti filter and see if it is big enough to fit over the nipple. oh well...

Heaven forbid you actually buy a Kioti filter. Might actually fit as intended. 76KD-10331 all of about $5.

You beat me to it. Really?! All this nonsense about being too cheap to buy a filter that WILL fit from Kioti? And why would a dealer be inclined to go out of their way for this non-existant problem anyway?:confused2:

Fram C6921 or Baldwin PF-872 worked for me on my CK20HST.

Well your going to have a very long list if that's all it takes and ignoring a lot of good advice.

Lookout Murph, you'll be next on this rocket scientist's list.:confused2:

Well Murph, neither of those two really gave advice, just comments that were of no use and appear to be negative. I do not come here for that as I have enough of that from other sources.

Thanks

I wrote: "Sounds like you may have the wrong fuel filter, especially if you're duplicating what was already not a proper fit filter. You must get the correct filter and at least one spare to have on hand. Nothing worse than using an improperly fitted filter, if you destroy your injection pump you'll know why and won't forget the hole where your wallet used to be.
If you can't find the correct Wix buy OEM and save your bacon/wallet.
Buy off road diesel for your tractor- why pay on road taxes if you're not driving on highways?!"

That sounds like advice, and high quality advice to me.

Later I wrote: "Napa might have them, or could order them or you could get one from a Kioti dealer. Don't run your tractor until the correct size o-ring is in place."

The above is a warning about damage you could do, or may have already done to your tractor by running with both the wrong filter and no o-ring in place. You chose to not heed my advice, which is fine, yet at your own peril; and RickB and I gave you heat about it.
You also suggested you might leave this forum; which IMHO might be your best option since you rate our advice in particular as "of no value" and of little use to you. Maybe in future you should map out what exact advice you want and we can accommodate you?!
Or go to some of the other places that don't match your expectations either...

In half the amount of time you've spent here criticizing advice you asked for, and refusing to buy the correct OEM filter, you could have saved yourself and most of us the frustration of trying to tell you what needed to be done to solve your issue once and forever. But no, you know all the answers, so why bother asking how to: "...and adding lubricant to the road diesel"? IF you were to buy just ONE OEM Kioti fuel filter you would know right away if the filter or the housing/nipple or something else were the problem; but hey you know all that already, right?:banghead:
