I have a seemingly simple question for you guys. I bought a wood splitter homemade 3point tractor set up and want to run it on my bobcat 773. I don't know hydro systems that well, so my question is if I want to run the splitter from a control valve that was mounted to the splitter out side of the cab, assuming I will need to hit my constant flow on my joystick in the cab to get pressure flowing, do I need to install a cross over fitting tying the supply and return lines together so it can circulate when the splitter valve is not open? Or is it ok to flip the pressure on against closed valves? It seems to me that some of my attachments have crossover or pressure relieve systems (blower, mower ect). Just want to do this right the first time without breaking something.
