Not that he will see it, but I did give constructive advise. I provided a part number and pricing for a filter absolutely guaranteed to fit his application perfectly. If that isn't viewed as contributory, tough for him. My information will be of more use than a Wix 33507 or NAPA 1324, neither of which will come close to fitting a CK20 .
The expectation that a Kioti dealer parts counter person is going to measure a Kioti filter for the purpose of assisting an aftermarket supplier to get a sale is absurd.

+1 Especially on the last sentence; which is what I had said about it being unreasonable to expect a dealer to help him with this non-existent problem- just buy the correct frickin' filter and be done with it!

For what it's worth the NAPA site shows a completely wrong filter for my tractor. It shows a cartridge filter (see NAPA AUTO PARTS).

My tractor actually uses a spin-on filter with a threaded bottom for the sensor.

There are plenty of great dealers, even on this site, happy to sell the right parts by mail if (as in my case) there is no nearby dealer. By the way, I bought everything through my local dealer until he got out of the Kioti business.

When in doubt, go to MIE's parts site (http://www.michironandequip.com/pages/OemParts#) and at least get the correct Kioti part number to cross reference.

Not so. All 45S models use a Kioti T4682-43172 (which superseded T4682-43171) according to OEM Parts.

The correct filter for a DK45S bears no resemblance to the cartridge shown in your link. I suspect the DK45SE (very different machine) may use the cartridge style filter. This confusion must be a common problem because I even had a dealer sell me the wrong filter at one time.
