Helpful neighbor!

For those of you still interested in this thread.
Went to court today. The neighbor's court appointed attorney:shocked: ask the judge for a 60-day postponement. Before court her lawyer came up to me in the hall way and wanted to negotiate a settlement, to put a close to everything today. I told him she broke the law, and he needed to talk to the prosecutor.:talktothehand:

Postponing sounds like a tactic to try to wear you down, they hope you'll get tired of it, give up and go away.

A 60 day postponement so he can figure out a way to weasel her out of this mess no doubt. Just get on with it I say.

Actually the way I see it, I'm not even in the equation. It's between her and the prosecutor's office. Which I don't understand them at all, we have written several letters, some hand delivered to the prosecutor's office begging for information of what is going on. Not one phone call, or letter from the prosecutors. My tax dollars at work I guess!
Funny she doesn't have money for an attorney for this, but did when she sued me for adverse possession.

If you are allowed to settle. Figure up all what this mess she caused has cost you in $$ ,headache , etc, etc, and give him a figure to settle. On the other hand,,If she has a court appointed attorney, It's doubtful she has any $$ to pay
