Hey Brandi, that's pretty cool that you and your ex are able to help your daughter out with moves and home. My daughter moved out in 2011 and has moved twice since. The son left the nest September 2012 and has moved once since. I'm hoping for no more moving for a long time.

Daughter update...........My ex and I both are going to pony up $5000 and with the child support, she should be able to buy a house around Pflugerville. Pflugerville could be considered north, north Austin. She's a smart kid, she says she is tired of moving and I agree. She knows getting into a house ASAP is best for the long run.
hugs, Brandi

Congrats bindian, nothing is quite as exciting as buying that first house and putting down roots. She's a lucky girl.

X's 2 and rates are still decent, so good to do it now before they go up further:thumbsup:

It is deep foggy this morning boys and girls, not cold or windy though.

Thank Y'all. I think it will be the less stress on everyone going this route. Rebecca is already tired of that hour drive.
hugs, Brandi

Brandi, good luck getting Rebecca into a nice place of her own. Let's hope she finds the perfect place for her. Of course we homeowners know that the initial price is just scratchin' the surface. Everything from the roof, to pipes and electrical can have a huge impact later down the line. Heck, making sure she has a good AC system before closing on the house could save her big-time. It's always the little stuff that adds up.

Heard this on the radio and almost went off the road!:D

"As most of the country is setting cold records, Colorado is setting record "HIGHS"":rotfl::applause:

For you Texans upset with the cold weather, here's a site I ran across that forecasts the next 3 to 9 months in both temperature and rainfall. Rainfall looks normal but prospects are for an above average temperature for most of the next 8 months. Farmgirl will be happy.

Indeed, I will be! Especially if there is some rain mixed in with those high temps! :D

Well, I have it on good authority that any forecast beyond five days is about as reliable as the "Physic Hotline," maybe even less.:D However, just like Hellman's Mayonnaise, when you bring out Texas weather, you bring out the best.

Y'all will have the bluebonnets before you know it.
