Bird you do know, as we age, our impression of "hot" changes. The receptors on our tongues become less sensitive just like our ears and eyes become less sensitive. I am not sure what I am trying to say here, because also as we get older our thoughts become more "muddled" too:D

I agree . . . with all the above.

Oh no! Shortage of Velveeta. What if someone has a need to "cut the cheese"?

I prefer Pace picante sauce - medium or hot in-lieu of Rotel. Also like those scoop chips!

...in moderation of course :)

Moderation? We don't have no stink in' moderation around here? ;-)

Nope, not kidding at all. Of course I'm not gonna eat it all in one, or even 2 or 3, days. Just finished putting it in a couple of pyrex bowls with lids and when it cools, it'll go into the refrigerator. When we want a little of it, we just put a bit on a saucer, heat it in the microwave, and get out the chips. So it'll probably last a couple of weeks; maybe longer.

It's good stuff! Sharn Jean makes it about the same way, but I prefer my more toward the medium scale as opposed to hot hot.

Moderation ? See that's why I rarely eat chips...My Mrs. and I buy those little one ounce bags and when we crave a chip we limit ourselves to 1 ...one ounce bag...otherwise we would eat a huge bag of chips at a sitting...No discipline when it comes to chips an dips..LOL

The hotter you make it the less you have to share! :)
