We had Hughes for years. Daily limits and "not very fast" but the worst was the abysmal customer service. We finally cancelled after a straight week of zero service every afternoon and evening and worthless customer service. We went to AT&T cellular data and that was poor here (no Verizon coverage). Finally we went to Wildblue/Excede satellite service who had the Gen 4 before Hughes. Much better although I would certainly love DSL or cable.
Wildblue has a monthly limit instead of daily, so that it's not a hassle if you have heavier use one day than the next. The couple of times that I've had a problem, their Customer Service is excellent!
