That when it comes right down to it, we should all have DeltaHook QHs and we would not have to worry about these things. :rolleyes:;)

Yup, I did too. Nothing's perfect, if it don't fit you must acquit (excuse bad joke) make it work. ;)

I should be so lucky.

Murph;

If you spent the money for the Cat 1 Delta Hook system, upon purchase your normal reaction would be $$OUCH$$. Upon receipt, hookup, and use your reaction would be " why didn't I get the DH years ago" instead of jerking around with all the variables of all of the Quick Hitches. The variables seem to be more prevalent in the CAT 1 QH's than the CAT 2's IMHO. The DH receiver plates, that mount on your implements, have significant adjustability. Most of our CAT 1 implements are not QH compatible but, with the adjustments available on the DH, all work fine. The only tool we have, that gets me out of seat, is the Bush Hog Cutter to hook up the PTO.

I am very close to biting the bullet, getting rid of our CAT 2 QH and switching to the Delta Hook Cat 2 package. The DH is just that great!

Good luck!

If I was making money on my set-up I would but my Tractor is a homebody. I use the QH with my implements on Dolly's.

Everything we do is for our place but, since I am still working in Offshore O&G project Development, traveling overseas a lot, only get weekends at the ranch so, any time saved is valuable.
