CAV Injector Pump Leak

[SIZE=4]My Massey Ferguson 135 has a leak on the injector pump. It's on the banjo fitting that feeds the # 2 cylinder. I have tightened it as much as I dared but it still drips while running. Any suggestions on how to leak-proof a banjo fitting?[/SIZE]

Try a new copper washer.

Did it work? I have a Massey MF 25 with a leak st the injection pump. Wanted to know if yours was just a new copper seal at the injection pump.

G'day those washer are a special steel washer not copper, copper ones do not last any good injector/pump specialist should have them and sell them to you.

Mine is leaking somewhere. Its in Michigan right now. I will check that banjo fitting.

There should be a label on the pump that says what it is. CAV made rotary fuel pumps that were used on many different engines, they were bought out by Lucas and then Delphi.

FWIW, I looked up "mf25 injection pump" and all the rebuilt pumps and rebuild kits that came up were for a CAV.

I just looked at pumps and repair kits on ebay. There should be several injection pump repair shops in Indy, just look some up and start calling around.
