That thing reminds me of the old slide-mounts we used on our CB radios back in the 70s.

:D

I hadn't thought about that, but it kinda does.

Richard have you considered that there could be a level 5?
A Delta hook.
3 point hitch | 3 point quick hitch | 3 point tractor hitch | The Deltahook

I believe it would be easier to hook up than even a good QH, because if you did not have top and tilt you could still easily hook on due to the self aligning nature of the delta.
Also disconnecting is easy without leaving the seat as you have a pull cable to release it. Only PTO hookup requires you to leave the seat, but you still have to do that with all levels except with the JD auto version of their QH, and a couple of European designs.

Downside of the Delta hook is that you must have the receiver for each implement you own, and the overall cost is higher for that reason.

Yep, I agree. I never thought about the Delta Hook because I have no personal experience with it.

A couple of members here have commented how much they like it. But I think the price has kept so many from enjoying its convenience. I know that is why I don't have one.

Same here. And I have enough implements that, well let's just say that it is more than cost prohibitive, for me anyway.

My wife and I were discussing this earlier and said the same thing, WAY too expensive. Those fellas would clean up on sales if they got realistic with pricing. Looks to be a very good design and idea.

At long last, look what followed me home today!!! I know pictures are part of the rules, so here you go. Got to double the hours on the meter this afternoon (from 1 to 2). Plowed the 2" of snow we got off the driveway and packed down our trail through the woods. All I can say is "Wow" this machine is incredible. Tractor technology really has come a long long way since 1952 (which was when our "new" 8n was made). The hydrostatic transmission was very nice to use with the loader and backblade. Clearing the piles at the end of the driveway I dipped the right rear into the ditch. On the ford, I would have been worried about being stuck in the hole, but the Kubota didn't even hesitate. I did get to play with the diff. lock in the really deep snow that's never been plowed out in the sugar bush. I probably didn't even need it though. If I need to, I can put the chains we use on the 8n onto the Kubota, but I guess I'll wait til I get stuck before I do. The Kubota without chains is about 2x more capable than the 8n with them. Of course the brakes don't really work on the 8n and without a diff. lock, as soon as one spins, you're toast. The Kubota can spin 3 before it's stuck, not one. Next step is to get forks on Monday so I can start moving my new palletized firewood around. This tool is going to change my life, can't wait to spend more time in the seat.

With your Ag's you might not need the chains in snow, but if it gets icy/packed you will probably benefit from them. Your tractor looks good out there in the white.

Very nice! Remember to check the lug nuts and loader mounting bolts after 10 hours or so.
