If all we did was post things about tractors, this website would have died years ago. Tractors are just what brings us together, but they get kind of boring pretty quickly. What makes this site so great is that we all have other interests and skills that are shared on here.

It's a welding advertisement, I do lots of projects that involve welding on equipment and the tractor.

That bothers me more than not being tractor-related. I get enough ads without them being snuck in here in the guise of postings.

Possibly, by "advertisement," he meant he made it and put it outside his place to illustrate his skills as a welder -- sort of a 3D advertisement. Not that he was exploiting the forum as a place to do backdoor advertising.

Go back and read the original post. It's by "longevity," his member type is "Advertiser." Click on his avatar and you can see his posts. All he ever does is start threads trying to draw people to his website, longevity-inc dot com. He's got 357 posts and he has never responded to anyone else's posts. He's not contributing to the discussion, he's just spamming us.

No, he's paying money to have his products advertised on the site, and in exchange for paying money he gets to post. So you should send him a big valentine and thank him for paying for the servers and bandwidth that make this all possible.

Agree! He pays advertising money to do what the rest of us get for free. He also has links to several training videos on YouTube that he paid to produce.

If this bothers anyone, you don't have to read his posts. Put him on ignore or whatever it's called on TBN.
