I would consider it a bad thing. They keep taking out traditional parts of the game (such as hitting which has been outlawed) they might as well sit around a table and play Madden 2013.

Seems to me this would be rewarding the stalling of your drive farther out.

I suggest that they let the opposing team hold the ball for the extra point...that ought to spice things up...kinda like Lucy and Charlie Brown!

How many watched the NFL Pro Bowl last weekend? I'm not a football fan, but I can see some rules in the NFL that could be changed to make a better game. On the other hand they changed up a bunch of rules for the Pro Bowl this year and I watched maybe 5 minutes of the game. It was the silliest thing I ever saw; a schoolyard pickup game would have been better.

Didn't watch it......the pro bowl is a joke. It really is nothing more than some R&R for the good players......like they can't afford to go to Hawaii on their own dime.

The pro bowl was already a joke, but Sanders vs Rice? At least before was logically one conference against the other.
i bet the nfl makes some good tv money off of this. it would be stupid for someone to get hurt playing in this game.
