F3080 snowblower question

Thanks Dan.

Blower delivered today and they found a lift limiter kit which was just as you described.

Sadly, they must have tried the lift without limiter as lower part of front panel (plastic) on steering post is scuffed on bottom.

Congratulations Sandalwood,
That's too bad about the small scuff marks but you'll be buffing that out in no time at all next summer. You'll enjoy working your new blower, and like me last year, you'll be looking like a snowman the first few times until you get the hang.... Reading the wind and rotating the discharge quickly is tricky.... Next will be the Curtis (Kubota) cab.
I'm sure we'll all be looking forward to your comments...

Dan.

How much does it cost for a F series and Mower and Blower? Could not find a Dealer who stocked a F Series in my area.

Mine is bought used Murphy, machine with 60 deck was 14900. It had 70 hours on it so almost new, I figured that was an ok deal.
The blower new, installed, was 5400 if memory serves me right plus the additional rear weight.
There's no doubt these are pricey machines, but they are really well suited for mowing and blowing.
Our dealer here in Ottawa does lots of F3680 business so there are many used ones around.

My Ventrac was very high too. Was just wondering how the compare. I have seen 1 F series Kubota machines here.

That looks like a very strong machine Murphy. I say the drivers seat might be about the same height as the F series. Your blower looks larger than the 5720, is it?
Also, what is the device in the centre pictures, is this a blower?
And lastly, that's a very nice shop floor, must be quite new

Blower is a 54 inch 2 stage and really throws some snow.
The center pic is a Leaf Bower.
The Shop is new built last summer doing power and a gas line this summer.
The machine is powered by a 26HP Kubota Diesel

Thanks, I built mine last year too, the best move I ever made. I have a niche wood stove and do my woodworking out there all winter, the grandkids love it, and so does my 3680:drink:
I built mine with 2x4 on 16" centers, 1/2" OSB inside and out, with 5/8" on the roof.
There is 12" of blown insulation in the roof, so the shop holds heat very well.
My only regret is that at 24x30, it's too small already.

Now that's a nice workshop, very well done Murphy. The vertical shiplap siding is a nice touch, makes it look like a living space, nice job, how long did it take to build?

I had the Amish build it in 5 days. I stained the whole inside of the patio also.
