Well I went & did it. Ordered this miniature chain saw. Sure hope it works, 60 day warranty (return privileges) & 1 year on battery. Brand new $50, with free shipping.

Anybody ever see one or use one????

I haven't, but bet it would cut bread good:D Wonder what the torque drain on the 18v battery will do, or is it for small trim jobs?

It is suppose to cut 150 1/.5" limbs on a single charge. cute little guy
When stealing (semi legal) wood don't want the noise of a regular saw. Most trees around here are fairly small, just want to cut notch so it pulls down easily.
Legal to cut dead & down wood & enough for a camp fire. maybe a BIG camp fire. :D

I have a small (6"'?) B&D Firestorm 18v that works waaay better than I thought it would. Looks & seems cheesy, but I picked it up for a song on clearance somewhere. Thought it would be handier than my 18" Stihl when climbing to prune & was pleasantly surprised for a change.

So I'm thinking you'll be happy if you're realistic with that Remington.

If nothing else the little guy will be handy around the yard & property. Be real good on stuff too big for hand shears. To be seen is if it can handle dry mesquite.

I bought the Ryobi chainsaw to clear limbs hanging over the grandsons 4 wheeling trail. It worked pretty good the few times I used it, but I found that the sawzall with a green wood blade cut faster and the battery lasted longer.

I share Gunny's experience. Sawzall is a lot more money up front but the blades are cheap and just a twist of the chuck to replace. A brand famous for hard working reliability.

Sawsall has many uses too, great to have in "deer camp" Of course Crash's little chainsaw can probably fit in a side holster so....:D
