How good are Nortrac tractors from Northern tool company??

I have wondered for years how these things hold up! They are reasonably priced but do they last?

Haven't heard anything good. Rebranded Chinese tractors as far as I know. I would way rather have something else. Don't like the thought of northern tools being who I had to deal with of I had problems.

I see they even sell a small dozer! Think I'll pass.

I don't have any issues with their basic inventory - except it can be a little pricey.

That does not surprise me!! I recently read a lot more info about kioti and mahindra and they are worth the price. I wouldn't dare to go an cheaper than that

I wouldn't really put Kioti in the "wouldn't dare to go any cheaper" category. My Kioti DK50 is a kickaxx machine - well worth the money and a better deal than the other orange or green competition.

No offense ment at all. Only looking at kioti and mahindra at a lower price stand point.

I'm also looking at tym and got very interested

None taken - just wanted to stand up for what I believe is a superior quality tractor.

I looked at Nortracs when considering tractors and I was really torn between their price and what I was seeing in other brands. But then I lucked into what I thought was a good deal and still do - a Kubota L2800 with 4 hours on it and the price was $2K more than the Nortrac. Knowing that there was local support and service sealed the deal.
At the time a Nortrac 25hp 4wd with Front end loader was $12.5K and I got the Kubota 4wd 30hp with FEL for $14.5K.
