Pie, Did someone say Pie!!

Dessert pies are all well and good but the best pies are meat pies! (although a Tassie Scallop pie is 'right up there'!!!)

They're our version of a hotdog at (any) sporting event. [small 5" pastry delights]

In fact, you've inspired me as to what to have for Tea tonight... a lovely beef & Mushroom pie with chips. Yum-O!

Oh, and a Boston Cream pie is my favourite dessert pie... I have it for my birthday instead of cake.

That's what I'm talking about ... May the pallet fires begin .. I elect Dave to carry the pallet torch at the opening ceremony !!!

Thank you. My proof has been accepted for publication in the Journal of the American Mathematical Society. The policy of that journal prevents me from giving any details of the proof before its publication, but I can reveal that the imaginary number (i) and the irrational number pi figure prominently in the proof.

OMG! Really? When I read that I was just speechless! And to think that old Miss Prunelips, my 11th grade consumer math teacher, said I would never get past long division. And now I find myself featured in a learned journal sharing the illustrious company of pi and (i)!

I pondered the ways that I could meaningfully express my heartfelt thanks. To that end, I have decided to assemble a montage of Steve Cam images that show the true humanity of the person who is the "man behind the math." I think you deserve no less than that my friend.

Excellent! My proof shows that the number of your delusional episodes per week follows a Poisson distribution:*

.

I need additional observations to refine my estimate of lambda, the mean (and variance) of your weekly delusional episodes.

Note that the uppercase of lambda is an inverted V. A coincidence? I think not.

* Note the presence of the irrational number e in the probability mass function.

I've set up two pallets and have a game cam aimed at them. Will report any notable activity.
