Good Morning. 0840, clear, 49F with 94% humidity. Forecast high of 70F this afternoon, and a low of 48F tonight. No plans for the day, other than taking a plate to Mamma when I leave for work this afternoon. The plate is already fixed, so all I have to do is remember to do it.

It looks like the cold front is going to pass north of us. A little rain on Wednesday and Thursday is the worst we should get out of the system. But Atlanta and points north are not going to be so lucky. You all buy up supplies early, and lay low once it hits.

I've been watching the national radar, and now I see Thursday's storm coming.
As usual, Mother Nature is drinking deeply from the Gulf right now from Corpus Cristi to
Mobile Ala and will likely intensify her thirst, a truly thirsty lady, and then charge up the East Coast
with that precip. But it always starts from about Corpus Cristi up to about Houston, then heads NW from there.
Summer storms too. It's like those fire service air tankers are dipping into the Gulf and are dumping it on our heads further North...

Once it starts in the Gulf, then it's Buppies turn to watch them...but the path seems consistent for about 90% of the significant precip weather patterns we get here.
Like Paul Revere, I have delivered the alarm to Buppies Weather Service and now we will go back to regular programming.
