Just wanted to show a project that I am currently working on. I need a new (used) loader bucket for my 410. The thing has been very abused over the years and is just too far beyond repair to save. So I decided to make a skid steer quick attach. I ordered the Titan brackets and hardware and have been beefing them up and creating space for my bucket flanges to connect.

Its not complete, still need to add 1/2 plate for my bucket flanges to connect to they are 10 wide so wont fit on the 3x4 box tubing.

Im thinking I will add a receiver for a hitch in the middle of the cross piece. Any other function tips are greatly appreciated.

I used the same quick attach brackets and my mounts ended up close to the pivot for the levers like yours. I would recommend trimming the sides of the levers so that they will go over center. If you do not do this there is a chance they will work loose and the locking pins will unlock.

You do nice work Scott. You'll be very happy with a QA. I built one for my tractor last year, and I change from bucket to bale spear every day.

The levers do go past center now. How far past center did you find they needed to go? I will get a video tonight showing the current condition I am interested to see what your thoughts are having done this before.

Paul, I am looking forward to being able to switch between implements, I think it will make the tractor much more versatile. Do you have any pictures of your build?

I have a few implements in mind,
Front mount box blade/land plane
I know people have varying opinions on working off the loader but I plan to make a work platform for working on the house.
I have a set of skid steer forks I got used.
I also got a versalift manlift that I plan to make attach to the loader gives me a portable manlift that will reach ~45ft. I will post info on that when I build the mount for it.

Thanks
Scott

Scott, my pics are at the bottom of this page: Male Skid Steer Plates - Page 2 . I also have plans to build a work platform, except since I don't have pallet forks, it will have it's own QA plate. Possibly safer that way, since it can't slide off the forks. I'm thinking 3' x 5" (or 6") platform with a 3" railing all around. I think it should work good for working on buildings, trimming trees, & picking apples.

nice job.

Mine were barely over center. I trimmed it so that the bottom of the handle was flush with the washer and angled up to the top.

Paul, Thank you for sending over the link looks like a strong build. I was thinking about using an attach plate as well seems that it would be a bit safer, but since I have the forks already I might go that route and save a bit $$.

Ok so mine also just barely go past center, sorry I will get a vid. I might need to trim mine as well.
