4110- 3 pt hitch wont raise

I like the way jd110 is thinking on this one. I wonder if there is another 4410 close by that you could have a look at and check hose placement. Ask about other owners at the dealer.

What stinks is the person I got it from had a fully functioning unit next to it. He has since sold it for a bigger model. I was actually going to try to borrow the valve to validate whether I had rebuilt it correctly. I have become a familiar face at he dealer through this, so I'll go that path.

I'll try running it this morning to check the load idea and let you know

No, with it closed all the way nothing happens, but I can't recall right off if having it open all the way will cause the 3 ph to not do anything either.

Are you stating with 3 pt lowered all the way & R-O-D screw closed all the way when engine is started and 3 pt lever moved to rear of quadrant 3 pt doesn't raise?

No, I'm saying with it up all the way and the RDV closed all the way nothing will happen since the oil isn't allowed to flow, but I can't recall without going out and starting mine whether or not I can close it all the way when down and nothing happens too, or if I can open it all the way and nothing will happen in either direction. I have to go plow in a little while, so maybe I'll play around with it today to refresh my memory.

So I went and tried it today. At idle, when I raise the loader the idle goes up 300 rpm. When it hits the top of the lift, the rpm return and stay at 1000. So I think the relief issue is what I'm dealing with

Any thoughts on next steps?

Ok so here are my thought's. I think your relief is bypassing all the time that you are not using your hydraulics. That's why when you raise your fel the rpm's go up. The engine isn't working against the relief when you are using your hydraulics. As soon as you quit using the hydraulics the system goes back into bypass. To me it sounds like you have two hoses switched around or the valve wasn't reassembled properly. I'm just guessing on this. Can someone with the same tractor send you some pictures of how the pipes attach? Does the rockshaft valve have the relief in it? Are the valves stacked in the proper order? Good luck

My thinking was very similar. When I got he tractor, all the hoses were connected and still are. So my first inclination is tied to that valve. Either rebuilt wrong, bad component in it, installed wrong (although I'm not sure how that could happen). It could be another connection, but just because this was what was apart leads me to believe this was what they thought was the issue

For whatever reason rockshaft valve fails to operate correctly it will go into internal bypass and dump back to the sump. Did you try to adjust the sensitivity screw? Questions, questions...how was it decided it the valve was the problem (and subsequently pulled apart) and not maybe a leaky or damaged lift cylinder. There are also mechanical quadrant adjustments. Any how more info is needed, what new parts did you get? How did you approach the reassembly did you use a shop manual and document all the components? Book says outside of o ring seals rockshaft valve is replaced as a whole as individual parts aren't renewable. I need to see what JD Parts shows.

Not sure on how it came down to the valve as the issue. I rebuilt the valve based on pics from the service manual. I had all of the pieces. I know I can buy at least most of the internal components for it. I have not trid the sensitivity screw, but can today.

My next question is how does fluid move through this system? Is their a relief on the pump? I'm ordering the manual today, have to order the paper copy since I don't own a computer w a cd drive anymore.
