Pallets in fields

Did anyone figure out what the pallets were used for?

This will probably be the final (I explain the reason below) Steve Cam image update.

I mentioned earlier that there were hints that someone, Madam Zelda, or perhaps Miss Cuckoo acting alone--a possibility we have overlooked, was working to develop flying aliens, and that Robert--the AWOL monkey--was an intermediate-stage research result, or, as shown below simply a convenient source of monkey DNA.

Monkey DNA would have provided the expanded skull and prehensile tail. Pallet formations in fields could be alien bat houses.


Robert has repeatedly insinuated snakes into our research discussions. Freudian impulse, epigenesis, or genetic memory perhaps? Why snakes? That's the mystery.


Hopefully, the DNA extraction process performed on Robert was nondestructive. In the event that it was not, I suggest this as an appropriate container for his monkey ashes. His life and times as an hurdy-gurdy monkey will be fondly remembered.


This may explain what happened to sparc. The alien shown earlier is holding a lobotomizer ray-gun to sparc's head! A memory wipe for sure.


And finally, this one's for James. I don't know what it means, there seems to be no correlating images. Was Madam Zelda really a witch passing as a gypsy? Are the pallets to be used as witch burning pyres?


Sadly, these are the final Steve Cam images. The image files are disappearing just as mysteriously as they originally manifested themselves on my hard drive. I never explained how I came to have the Steve Cam image files--because I had no explanation. It has strengthened my faith in scientists that none of you made accusations regarding the authenticity of the image files or how I came to possess them.

My only real regret, as the files vanish, is I will be unable to assemble a future The Man Behind the Math - Steve At Home series should it be necessary to further promote Steve's academic career or boost his chances for a Nobel Prize.

PS: I forgot to mention the Monkey Bank is only $34.95 if we order now. I think we can fund this through a group lottery at $2 per ticket. The winner will have the honor of proudly displaying Robert's remains for a period not to exceed one year from the time of death noted on Robert's necropsy. When this period has expired, the bank will be passed on to the oldest surviving member of the research team (who can supply proof of purchase of a minimum of one lottery ticket) for one year, and so on.

PS I am surprised that no one has commented on the fact that the upper case of lambda looks like an inverted V and that lambda is the 11th letter of the Greek alphabet.

You may be on to something. I believe there was a TV documentary, "The Sopranos," about a family of Italian origin that lived in New Jersey.
