Most of the paths are in areas that are too narrow for the big blower, or the
surface is too irregular.

We had another 2 inches of powder snow (forecast was a dusting to an inch), followed
by rain the following day. I cleaned up the 2-inch snowfall before the rain came, but
with rising temperatures during the day followed by below freezing temps at night, the
driveway is now a bit icy. I ran the tractor over the driveway a couple of times to
rough up the slush before it froze, so traction isn't a problem, but a little hazardous
for walking. I'm relieved that we had the roofs cleared before the rain, or I'd have
bigger problems.

I just read that the flood forecast in the upper midwest is low risk as of now. Lots of snow pack, but they said river and lake levels were low going into winter. Of course, they also said one good rainy spell could change all that.
