I'm going to give the sealant tabs a try. Apparently they are made from ground ginger and ground almond husks. They also have some sort of corrosion inhibitor added. It's an incredibly slow leak, so it shouldn't take much to plug it up. I also don't put very many hours on my tractor, maybe 35 last year. I'll keep an eye on it and consider and more permanent fix if the situation gets worse down the road. Thanks for all of the input, guys. :thumbsup:

Just normal black pepper used for cooking, really?? Any chance of clogging something I don't want clogged? If not, I guess it's worth a try.

Used for cooking or at the table. It has a mixture of fine and coarser particles. Add it to a small bottle of water or anti freeze mix. Warm the engine to operating temp then allow to cool just enuf to depressurize. Start engine, remove radiator cap, shake and dump in bottle. Rinse seal area and replace cap. Immediately go WORK the tractor for a while. This will fully disperse the particles in the pressurized coolant. Some of them will find that leak and lodge in it. The rest will continue wandering around forever. Ive never had any thing clog except with Barsleak.

I doubt they will clog. GM dealers use them in ALL new car prep. Been using them for many years per dealer advice.

Yep!Esp. when It's a brand new Veh. sure don't want anythem leaks Visable. And wonder why they wen't to Bankruptcy?

So I tried the GM Coolant System Tabs. I bought a little tube of the powder that says it is 21 g in weight. I opened the radiator and had to use something to shove the powder down into the coolant fluid because it just wanted to sit on the top. I didn't add very much, maybe 20% of the tube (about 4 g.) I closed the radiator, started up the tractor and let it run for about 15 minutes then shut it off. This was 1 week ago, and I just went out to inspect the tractor's engine. There was zero sign of leaking. It had been very obvious, with streaks and drips hanging on the bottom of the engine case, so it has sealed the leak at least for the time being. If the leak comes back, I'll probably just add a little more of the magic powder. Cheers! :drink:

What is the Name of the GM SYS. Tabs. I asked a few ASE. Techs. and they never heard of them? There are some used For Anti Corrosion and Electrolysis not Stop Leak. We agreed on what the Magic Powder is called. And now time will tell just what all gets plugged up Esp. if you keep using it. The Head is either Warped,Cracked or Both. Did you Check the Torque?
