Anyone else notice a rash on new posters with one line comments?

How many fingers do you guy's use to post ? Me 2 fingers and 1 thumb.

My Dad taught me how to type when I was in Grade 7 AND I took it in HS as well. So I would have to say that I use 8 fingers.

There are some guys online, that I look at their post count, the fact that they talk about being on other forums, and hold down jobs.... I really wonder how? I thought I had a good union job, but I never had one that allowed enough time online to accrue 20K post counts on multiple forums. I'd run out of anything to say. My freakin fingers would have given out! Maybe I'm just not that smart?

My job requires me to be in front of a computer almost all day long. I'm salary, on-call 24-7-365. They pay me to do a job. Sometimes I put in 12 hours days. Sometimes longer. Heck, I've had a few 36 hour days (geez, I'm taking a break from working for them from my bunker right now). They know they can count on me to abandon my family at the drop of a hat to resolve pressing issues. I never abuse my sick time (only 2 days in the past 10 years or so) and they know they can count on me. I take my computer on vacation with me. So, they are happy with my performance and I am generally satisfied with my wages and work arrangements. A fair days work for a fair days pay is what it boils down to. Its just not a traditional days work for me. If I was on a production line, or it affected output, it wouldn't be possible. So, I guess I'm lucky in that regard.

As for typing, I use 10 fingers and don't look at the kets.... :laughing:

It doesn't seem like much to stop in the Power Trac forum, say hi to a few guys, hit the related topics and rural living forums, make one or two comments and before you know it....... YIKES!!!! I have averaged 4.5 posts per day on TBN over the last 13.5 years. :laughing:

This is a pet peeve of mine where a post is just skimmed over and incorrect implications are made as a result giving the wrong idea to everyone.... the rash caused only happens to NEW posters. As you have 405 posts, any rash you have is from something else.

WOW! You certainly ARE well endowed. Most people only have 8 fingers.:laughing:

I too have Cancer and have a lot of down time to sit at my Laptop while the Meds are dripping in. Don't care about what anyone thinks of my post count including you Richard just glad I have a Forum of like minded people to shoot the breeze with.

They are all over TBN and all seem to have been created at about the same time. Comments among others are..."nice pic's", "post more pictures", "well none", "nice job"...etc.

Any clue where these are going or their purpose? Kinda feel like the guy on Alien at the dinner table scene.....sumptin is crawling around inside here.
