Really, I would advise against selling it. There will come a time you will need it.

Hard to say. Pictures are worth a thousand words. And condition is everything. But blades are cheap. Figure $100 - $200 TOPS unless it is restored and looks like new. Then maybe a little more.

well I really don't want to sell it, but we never use it any more because I have 2 7' blades and a box blade that I use now. it would be a nice blade for some one with a 9n, 2n, 8n, etc. that would like to paint it up and take to tractor shows, or they could even use it for a snow blade, or grade their drive way etc. I mostly use the 9n for cultivating the sweet corn and sunflower fields any more. I also have a 2 bottom dearborn 12" plow that is in excellent shape that we never use any more. don't know whether I want to sell it or not. I know my daughter is not going to want it. what would you guys do with these to items?

amberg,

The Dearborn plows are very much sought after and command $500-$1000 easily. I wish I was in a position to make you an offer on the plows.

I am at a loss for words now. I sold my 565 oliver 4 bottom 16" semi mounted plow 4 years ago for a whole $75.00 before commission, had I known that I would have left it here on the farm to rust away. daddy bought the 9n and the plow, 2 row cultivator, and the 6' blade, all for $900.00 in 1946. I can't imagine who uses these small plows any more. am I missing some thing with this old stuff?

Who uses these small plows any more? Us guys with small tractors!
Like wolftree, I'd love to get my hands on a good condition Ford 101 or 102 roll over (I wish), but price, shipping and supply/demand in this area make it unlikely I'll see one on my hitch anytime soon.

amberg,

Anyone with a small tractor and a large garden desires one and two bottom 3PT plows. The Ford/Dearborn plows usually command the highest prices.

guys, I would like to see this plow go to a good home, where some one would take care of it. I could try to take some pictures of it and send them to you by email if you would like to see it. I also have a ford 101 3 bottom 14" cat 11 plow that I use to plow the sweet corn and sunflower fields with. best plow for turning dirt ever made IMO
