Simply amazing!!! Been following this thread the whole time and I can't begin to tell you how impressed I am with your abilities. Who builds their own backhoe? Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!
Yes, and more. It's really fast, maybe even to fast at least until I get used to the controls.
Well...the ground is really soaked right now. We had lots of rain last week; there are multiple flooded areas.
You can notice on the picture, my left stabilizer (right on the picture) went 20 cm into the ground just like that.
Later we placed a large board under it so it held position.
I was actually digging this pit in order to make way for the water because this heavy mud on the surface wont drink it
Underneath the mud (3 m (9ft)) there is a thick layer of gravel so it should work.
Kubota Tee - why not, it's obviously possible to do it - one man with only the basic tools in a small garage...but it takes a year when you have alot of other things to do
This has been my favorite build thread since what's his name rebuilt the unimog!
Can't wait until you post video. Congrats Freaky.
There is a phone number here in Texas to call before you dig. The service is free I believe. They have all entities with underground stuff come out and mark it before you dig. If you abide by their markings, it mostly exempts you from liability.
Trust me, you don't want to hit a gas line or dig up a fiber optic main line.
