Buying Advice Massey gc1715 or 1526

Does the massey site have a build your own for the 1526? Wondering how you got the price.

Yes, go to 1500 series and at bottom go to build your own. It gives options such as loader, tires,etc. as tou are building it updates the list price on the top left.

Headed to the dealer in the morning with the trailer. I actually discussed the 1720 with the backhoe as well. Everything is set except for me making up my mind. He quoted me the 1720, loader/hoe/mmm for $500 more than the 1526. If it fits me that will come home with me, if not I will order the 1526 and go back. The dealer is about an hour and a half away.

Yeah I went there and found it. I sure hope that dealer don't charge that much more. That tractor priced over $17,000 and I have seen the same one for $15,300 on machinery trader. I noticed that that option said adjustable rims. I did not get that though. I know some of them you can just flop the wheels. Put the left side on the right side and vise-versa. My last tractor was that way. It sure helped a lot. I have really paid any attention to this one as it is very decent like it is. So you go tomorrow to get it or gotta wait one more week. I bet you are excited...

Haha on the hour and a half drive. I bought mine in Oklahoma. It was about 170 miles. Swinford Tractor is one of the largest Massey dealer in the state of Oklahoma they had a lot of red on their lot. I looked at a tractor with the backhoe too. My mind was going like crazy thinking about all of the holes I could dig it the yard haha. That is a nice thing to have. I work construction so I already had access to a backhoe at times so I opted out.

Well after I got to the dealer I got the 1720 TLB. After using it here today I made the right decision. It is plenty big enough to do what I want and sctually is pretty comfy once Ive used it a bit. Thanks all to your responses. Radrock that little hoe is a blast, my 8yr old ran it for an hour, and I mean dug, curled, swung, I couldnt beleive it, must be the video games. Well congratulations. That hoe will come in handy for lots of things. For what it's worth I have read here on TBN. Lots of people really like those little critters. Share some pictures when you get a chance.

Oh crap, it worked :laughing:. I will get some pics, that was a trial run. Spent all day getting the mower adjusted, they obviously stuck it on there and sent it out the door. Im ready for some grass instead of this white crap we have looked at all winter long.
