What grease gun are you using??

I mostly use a Lincoln pneumatic 1162 I think is the number on it, it does 95% of what I need to do.

Have a few older lever action guns that are used occasionally.

I have a luma 12 volt air compressor on my truck with 12 gallons of capacity, only has issues when filling really large tires. The grease gun isn't used full time, the pump can catch up between fittings.

I really enjoy the Milwaukee 18v grease gun. I have an air powered one as well but it's not continuous feed. The Milwaukee will pump a tube of grease in no time flat just by holding the trigger. Plus the pressure is adjustable and The batteries are top notch Lithium Ion. Never tried the Lincoln but I think they still use the old style carbon batteries? Not sure.

I have a $20 one from Tractor Supply and a $60 one from O'Reillys. One from O'Reillys is a piece of junk. Might have to look at a battery powered one.

I have half dozen of them scattered around all with fresh enough grease in them to get the job done. I have some off the shelf discount store ones that have held up well that they still work. My ancient expensive oldtime USA Lincoln lever is a workhorse testament how this country used to make great stuff., It has been abused and bent and never misses a zerk. A couple years ago I got smart and bought a good pistol grip and realized I was a fool for not getting one decades ago. I also have a Northern air pistol that I use once in a while on some STUBBORN way too tight king pins on an old truck. All the guns have a variety of tips, some fixed straight, some flex tube, and the Lincoln has the metal kind that you can go sideways with. ONE grease gun doesn't meet all my needs. Always remember that the knurled part at the business end should only be hand tight. You can adjust it to get on and off zerks easier than if you tighten it down hard.

Me too, that was just funny! Lol. Got a couple of plews that I've had for years. Greased farm equipment and my own. Here at work have a Lincoln air greaser that pulls out of 35 gallon drums. LUTT
