I am getting ready to buy a brush grapple and having a difficult time. The one that seems very good is a Versatech 23072 HD but I have not been able to find specs anywhere. Anyone have any experience?

Welcome to TBN Don. I did a search and I see what you mean. It did bring up Anbo grapples which I'm very familiar with. But not even a whisper Re: Versatech.

There are lots of places that sell Versatech even places like ebay, Amazon, equipment auctions but when you try to find specs, I simply can't find any. I called the manufacturer "DH Machine" and they said that the exclusive arrangement they have with their client prohibits them from giving out that info. So I ask the guy for his client's name so I could get the specs from them and he said their arrangement precludes him from telling me that.

I'm thinking that has to slow business down a little bit.. I wonder who they are blaming?

Slow business down a little - - - S++T - - - It would be a cold day in H3LL when I give that company any of my CHC(cold hard cash) or even a second look. How are you going to feel after you have bought one of their grapples, call them for service and get this kind of answer. Somebody either does not want to sell any units or has it in for the parent company. I'd drop this company like a hot potato.

Well, I was really surprised by their response. I can only think of one possible answer. They are manufacturing the grapple for another implement manufacturing company that is the seller/dealer but does not want to admit that they do not build it. I am interested in the 23072 grabble but am totally surprised that I cannot find specs anywhere.

I agree with the other guys. I.e., I wouldn't do business with that company or any dealer that sold their equipment. There HAS to be someone else that makes a similar grapple.

Or, even better, do business with someone reputable such as EverythingAttachments. If they don't have what you want, there are lots of grapple manufacturers out there that don't play "Hide the Salami" with potential customers.

I have used a Versatech grapple on a skidsteer, it did everything we asked of it.

If I was buying one though I'd look at the ETA grapple .

That Everything Attachments Wicked Root Grapple looks pretty amazing. That's probably what I'm going to go with when I get to that point.
