King Kutter tiller

I have a 50 inch king tiller with a slip clutch PTO. I can't find any markings on the slip clutch mechanism and I doubt it's made by the tiller manufacturer. It has 2 discs that measure 4 3/4" across and a 3 3/4 " hole in the middle, does anybody have any idea where I should start looking for replacement, one is salvageable but the other is glazed too bad not to replace. All I can find are 6" discs, thanks.

I've been there, they only show the PTO and slip clutch as a unit. I need a break down of the individual components, thanks though guy. Anyone else?

I'd check the local tractor/implement dealer first. Or check these sites that show a couple different common brands that KK has used.

Find your disk OD and ID first, and it should be easy to match the part. I think I bought parts from Northeast Implement before, by phone. It was almost too easy.

I've recently worked with king kutter to order parts. They may show up as an assembly online but if you call them you can purchase individual parts within the assembly. I needed a single gear that was only listed as part of an assembly and a couple parts out of the pto assembly. I've got a 6 ft tiller that I'm fixing up.

King kutter also told me to order from one of there distributors because it is cheaper. I got pricing from king kutter and a local distributor before ordering and I saved some money going through the distributor. Just ask king kutter who their local distributor is for your area when you call in. Get prices from both.

X2. Call them. Super to deal with. I lost a spring on my slip clutch. Wasn't sure what to buy to replace it and wanted the same tension as the others. They had a guy call me from the shop and they mailed 3 of them to me no charge. How cool is that?

Darn, if I had known they gave service like that I would have looked for a KK tiller before I bought one.

Kingkutter.com then products, rotary tillers, manuals (lower right) has breakdown of the clutch several pages in. Pn 140219 for 4 3/4 od clutch disk.

Thanks for the help,found them at Agri-Supply at a really good price compared tp other places I found. At the price I decided to replace both discs, thanks.

Replacing both discs is a given, if one is glazed the other has to be bad as well even if it looks ok. The discs are inexpensive enough that I'd suggest getting two sets. I broke one of my new ones accidentally and had to order another - which took another week to come in. Always good to have a spare on hand.
