I posted a similar question in the specific tractor forum but after 2 days of no replies I thought maybe I should have posted in this forum to start with.. Not trying to double post here!

Where can I get Field Repair Reusable Hydraulic fittings for my Branson (ANSUNG Backhoe Frame mount with BRANSON color and LOGOS) BH76C, BH760 Backhoe OR information of exactly the fittings that are used on the bucket and legs, Boom and Dipper cylinders. all the hose on everything except bucket is 5/16" and 1/4" on bucket. All Alfagomma hose. And all the Alfagomma fittings I can read the stickers on are B3 and B4 which I can't seem to cross reference.

I need some Field Repair Reusable Hydraulic fittings for my Branson BH76C Backhoe, because I use my backhoe in a very remote area and want some that I can install on hand. The Alfagomma 1/4" Hydraulic hose burst right at the fitting on the backhoe bucket cylinder. I've used field replacement reusable bigger fittings on full size dozers and backhoes to repair in the field. The dealers around here want me to take the hose off and bring it in so they can build me a new hose. Which, in my case would be expensive and very time consuming! I know they make them but don't know the right ones to get for sure... Anyone done this before on this backhoe?

The Alfagomma hose is marked MSHA IC152/8-MaxWP 22.5MPa 3270 PSI ALFAGOMMA Flexor 1SN-1AT 1/4" ISO 1436 EN 853 ISN DN 6.3 SAE 100 R1AT 1Q11 55836/D111040 -04 ... The hose assembly # from my BH76 manual is 1P41-0880

I've even thought about replacing the fitting on the cylinder with one that I know I can find a field repair reusable fitting for but do not know if this is possible or wise. Anyone done this before on this backhoe?

I've held off cutting the fitting off and taking to a hydraulic shop as I'm using the BH's FEL in very messy environment and didn't want to risk getting contaminants in the BH's system. It might be my only option if I cant get some help here!

Any advice would be appreciated but really need the fittings generic info so I can get some field reusable fittings!

Thanks,
RON

Ron, can you post some pictures of the fittings so we can help you identify them please? Most fittings are standardized so we really dont need the OEM of them, but we do need to know if they are NPT, ORB, ORFS, or JIC style so we can help find what you need.

Yes I have seen them on The site and the page you sent me. I have contacted them but have not received any reply. I don't want to change my hoses out but want some reusable fittings I can use for emergencies in my remote location. not sure of the type, thread details etc of fittings used like JIC etc. Hoping for some input from peeps who have replaced them to get an idea of what is needed for the BH76C 1/4" and 5/16" hose. I've read hundreds of posts and seems strange That I can't find the info, seems like it would be a common topic :)

Thanks for your reply

Ok that's what I need to know. I'll get some pics and try to post. I've contacted two Branson dealers and they claim they cant tell me the type of fitting, but yet If I bring the tractor in they can build me a new hose HMMMM. Very disappointing!

Thanks

OK, So what do you think the thread size is. My hose on this is 1/4" for sure. the feed goes down past the fitting and "U" back up to fitting. Im thinking it might get a lot of movement at the fitting, so probably a straight fitting to lengthen the cable out a little wouldn't hurt in addition to the new end. I'm sure I saw some of those. I couldn't find my metric wrench for the female fitting so used my 3/4" which was a little loose maybe 18mm or 19mm?

I just looked at the BH and I think there may be some 5/16" hose also. I just bought the TLB but the hoses only have about 135 hours on them or less. they look brand new as the tractor has been stored inside. Its a 2011 bought in early 2012. I just want to get some reusable end fittings and coupler splice fittings to have on hand. Its OK when I have it in town but when its at my remote cabin its a pain to get anything part wise as its a 2 hr. drive for good part selection. 2 3/4 hr. drive to nearest Branson dealer! so don't want to make that trip to often.
Thanks
RON
