I'm converting my L35 (TL720 LOADER) pin-on bucket and pallet forks to a quick attach. with the W.R. Long coupler. Anybody have any experience with a project like this?

Years ago I did this to my L35. It was relatively painless since I bought a new loader bucket that was set up for the skid steer quick attach as well. It isn't that big of a deal to fit a q/a plate to the back of the original bucket if you have simple welding and cutting skills and tools. If you are going to outsource the fabrication work out to a local welding shop I would think if you were supplying the skid steer blank for the back of the bucket it would cost between 2-500 bucks. It could be more but it should be cheaper than an entirely new bucket. The most important thing to do is make sure if you use the OE bucket ,that they match the same angle of the skid steer plate to the original angle of the bucket the way it was pinned to the machine.

Unless you have already purchased the W.R. Long coupler, I would suggest that you price a coupler from your tractor manufacturer.
I'm not implying that there is anything wrong with W.R. Long couplers.
I converted a New Holland several years ago, using NH parts and it cost less than using aftermarket parts.

Hi dondc, if you decide to do something with your loader we can supply you with the quick coupler for your loader and the weld on plate for your bucket

how did your L-35 Quic-Attach project go? And If you did do it how did you line up the old bucket to the QA plates? I've an L-35 and a ATI QA, I made my own QA plates ( I cheated and had a local shop brake(bend) the bottoms, They did 4 plates for $20) the rest I did myself. But I am unsure of how to set the angle of the bucket? Hope you could help.. Thanks anyone, Bruno
