Advise for brush pile

Have a front end loader on my bx2370. I'm looking for something I can make to help me pick up brush piles with larger sticks and such. I know they probably make attachments for this. Any thoughts from those who have "home made" solutions? Thanks

What you need is a grapple(a light one) ,are you capable of building?I believe Everythingattachments.com recently introduced a small grapple.I put a Green's Machine Thumb on my bucket and that works well.Some people use "forks" for brush that may be better than just the bucket.

I augmented my FEL with clamp on pallet forks from Pallet forks/Titan .com . I needed pallet forks for a number of things. Using the pallet forks, and sometimes a chain wrapped around the load, is a partial low cost solution to a grapple.

Look on here and you'll find some guys just lay out a few 2x4's for a jury rigged set of pallet forks.

yep. I like long fork better than a grapple for bon fires. A cheap set of bucket fork will do the trick.

I have their Debris Forks which work very well for brush. They also have inexpensive bucket forks.

I like the idea of a grapple but just don't want to sink the cash in right now. Possible for bucket forks? Hmmm..

either a tooth bar or a ratchet rake would help and won't break the bank.

In a pinch, a carry-all in the bucket can stand in for forks. I used chain hooks and a pin to hold this one on, but tie down straps could do the job...
