Advise for brush pile

In a pinch, a carry-all in the bucket can stand in for forks. I used chain hooks and a pin to hold this one on, but tie down straps could do the job...

I like the look of that much better than my clamp on forks. My forks have a tendency to splay out, particularly when doing something like moving a brush pile.

What about a landscape rake? Turn it around and push the pile with the rake. Or use the loader for the big stuff and follow through with rake from behind. Rakes are really versatile implements.

I thought about the clamp forks but worry about them spreading out and not working well. I would definitely like something I could attach to the bucket but I'm also on a tight leash from the mrs since buying the tractor recently! Lol

Yeah, many folks don't understand. A tractor is just a power plant. It's only as useful as the attachments you have for it.

There are clamp-ons that join in the middle to prevent spreading. Or you could easily rig up something to do that.

Have a front end loader on my bx2370. I'm looking for something I can make to help me pick up brush piles with larger sticks and such. I know they probably make attachments for this. Any thoughts from those who have "home made" solutions? Thanks

With any tractor with a FEL and you're gathering brush for seasonal disposal or several heavy loads , I used to use either a rope or chain with a pair of FEL pallet forks fastened to the bucket and gather up the debris-what a PITA- off the tractor, on the tractor, chain/rope snag, load shift, cut/bleeding arms etc. BUY A GRAPPLE AND NEVER LOOK BACK-wise investment for your use now and if you ever decide to sell. Hydraulics rule.
