Kcender- my sympathies for your problems! That looks expensive. The broken parts are cast, not plate steel, I would guess. Bummer.

Thanks.That is an old problem from a couple of years ago.Kubota fixed it even though the warranty was up on the loader and yes,it was quite costly.I had a thread on here about it.Made me realize a tractor with implements is not as rugged as a true industrial machine.

Well you certainly aren't over stressing the front axle. Bigger tractor in the right color would be better but I think your doing OK with your machine of choice. Some hours of seat time and you will find the angles that work the best. Once the front wheels are off the ground there is no point in raising them any higher so change the angle of attack instead.

If it would be me I would use a bushhog to clean the place. My method is to push the mower in the bushes in reverse. If there is a bigger tree I lift the mower reverse over the tree and lower on it. I think mowing it is quicker and you don't need to clean up.

You really can't get in there easy....and the trees are a little big for the brushog...it does not look it in the movies but some are the size of an old Ike dollar coin. Makes a bad racket on the brush hog and still leaves the stump where I can't take a regular mower down.

Yes it makes a racket to chop them. I have 33 Hp tractor and it can chop easily 1.5" trees. If there is some bigger tree I wrap about three turns of chain around it, thread the chain through a slip hook and pull it out. Since you have a BH you can dig them out.

That is what I was doing....I don't really want to chop them down as I will not be able to run the regular mower in there.....I am trying to re-claim this place.
