Good morning, Latest tally on the grapple from EA: Cost and shipping $1650 Cdn, Customs and taxes $156, 16' hydraulic lines $130, so all in it was $1936 and I still need a bulk fitting. Grapple works well but requires time to become proficient with it. Island the duct tape is history! Can I leave the penalty box?

OK, you are promoted to ziptie level. :thumbsup: Next step up the ladder is bulkhead mount. Bonus points for fabricating your own! A few folks go overboard and install copper lines....but they are the type that polish their tractors so while we note such "improvements", we don't award prizes for such silliness.
I'm surprised there are customs duties on goods manufactured in the USA. Isn't NAFTA supposed to have created a free trade zone?

You sir know your stuff. You are absolutely correct. Under the NAFTA agreement with our two countries anything that's manufactured in the US or Canada and is sold between the two countries the duties are exempt from the trade. The end user still has to pay the taxes but no duties. We take advantage of that rule here many times a year. :thumbsup:

Yep. I bought one if the very first Millonzi 48" grapples. $500 off eBay. John Millonzi was a very interesting guy but sadly died fairly suddenly about five or six years ago. The company folded when he died. Still, my little grapple is going strong entering it's eighth season.
