Here's a photo of my snow remover, I call it "The Bastard" since it's a mix of Craftsman snow blower and John Deere F910 front mower. It's a lot of fun, not only using it, but watching the neighbors peering out their windows to see "what the **** is that thing?"

My friend says it looks like something from the Willy Wonka factory, lol.

Nice. That is one fine piece of engineering. The ODB. Love it.

Agreed! Very cool and darn effective. But you might wanna caution the videographer to stay out of the firing range. One chunk of ice or stray rock comes shooting out of that thing just wrong and there is a hospital bill to be paid. I never let anyone or anything cross a discharge chute from a blower or mower.

LOVE the pictures of our VIPER winches with our DENALI plows. We spend so much time in engineering and developing these products that it's rewarding to seem them being put to good use.

Per my profile pic I have a John Deere Compact 4010, probably barely makes the definition as a Tractor. I have FEL that I use to manage the snow on my 100 ft drive and a 3000 sq ft parking area. I use the FEL by default as it came with the Tractor. I always thought I would be better off with a blade/plow until I seen a friend hiring someone come with a FEL & Dump truck to load up his snow because he could not find anywhere else to push it, We get a lot of snow here and winter is long. But my Doctor who has more area to clear has a blower on his and wow that moves a lot of now and no banks. So my observation is that if you can afford it a blower is the way to go. But for me I have to keep working with my FEL, it takes longer but less maintenance expense and it does allow me to pick up and move my own snow when I run out of space.

Boston gets heavy, wind blown snow right off the ocean. But we only have a short driveway and some sidewalk to clear. In 2003 and 2004 Ariens made an 11.5hp Pro model with a 24" bucket. I looked for one for two years.

You will be just fine. I do both FEL and Plow. A blower works best on a paves drive-way.
