JOHNTHOMAS, you are waaaay toooo funny. Please tell me what you really think! I tend to overthink these types of things. I really have no sustained use for a backhoe such that I'd buy one. It'd be cool to have one and I know I'd find uses every month, but I could find uses for any attachment - even on two acres.

I may run up to the dealer and drive a B in circles to see if it still cuts with the outer fron tire on turns. That's the original reason I ditched the B7510. The BX is beautiful on turf.

I'll keep you in tune, JOHN. I hear you whispering BX, BX, BX, BX, BX...

As far as the front tire cutting circles,I can tell you my B2620 does. After playing with tire pressures and looking into changing the front tires I decided the B2620 was not what I wanted for mowing.I bought a GR2120 as a dedicated mower and what a difference. It is way better and faster than the B2620 or even a BX,which I had two of with mower decks. I now have a slightly used mower deck for a B to sell.

Thanks for your experience. I fought the circles on both my B7500 and B7510. The BX alleviated it and all grass grew back. My son mows quite a bit now, and I'm not sure I'm interested in him tearing up the yard. I figured the rear implement issues with the BX would bite me, but frankly, I'll probably only use a tiller and an aerator, and those shouldn't cause me issues.

Sorry JOHNTHOMAS, but I am strongly leaning at the BX again.

Hard to say here.... I have the BX23TLB, and know the small tires can be a hindrance in the woods, but it never has failed me in the snow. Perhaps if you added the BH, it could sway your decision... eventually you have to dig, and we aren't getting any younger.

I just looked at the new B TLB, and honestly... like it more.

I see a brand new orange tractor with a bucket on the front, a good looking 3p snowblower on the back, sparkly chains on the rear tires, nice heated cab with *great* visibility. There is snow piled ahead of it and behind it, but not huge piles, surrounded by woods. Surface looks a little bit icy. I don't see anything in that picture that couldn't be done with a BX. Faster, warmer, more comfortable, etc. with this rig, no doubt. But not even close to impossible.

I'm not trying to pick a fight. Forget the cab. I doubt your BX will pick up that blower, let alone power it. Looks to be a 5 footer. Again, no fight here. Just simple logic. I love my JD2210 which is BX sized. But I ain't gonna try to run a 5ft snowblower. :)

I'm not looking for a fight either. There was just nothing in that picture that showed any work that couldn't be done with a BX. To look at the size of the snowblower is not the same thing as defining the work that needs to be done.

What?????

My comment was directed at the picture. That includes the 5ft blower. :)

GET THE BX. YOU'VE OWNED Bs AND BXs AND AFTER SITTING ON A NEW B AND YOUR NOT IMPRESSED GET THE BX!!:cool2: I'VE BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT AND PREFER THE BX FOR MOST USUAL CHORES. THE BH IS STRONGER AND DEEPER ON THE B BUT IF THAT'S NOT A PRIORITY, GET THE BX!!!!:drink: IF YOU GET THE B AND THINK ABOUT THAT EXTRA $30 A MONTH YOU'LL GO CRAZY. GET THE BX!!!:drink: I'VE OWNED AND USED SEVERAL OF EACH AND THE BX WILL DO ALMOST EVRY THING THE B WILL DO BUT YOU SIT HIGHER OFF THE GROUND ON A B AND THE B WILL DO SOME THINGS A BIT QUICKER THAN A BX IF YOUR IN A HURRY. GET THE BX!!!:cool2:Get the BX

Get the B. You've done to much thnking and pondering and researching to go with a BX like what you have. Get the B. You'll wonder ever day with a BX if you should have gotten the B. Bs aren't quieter than BXs. The Bs aren't as smooth running as the BXs but get the B. I used the same post hole digger on the Bs and BXs. Get the B. HGigher ground clearance.

OK.....after following you for awhile :) I've come to a final total without reservations recommendation!!!!! Follow the advise of the above posts.:D
OK, maybe another add. I went for years without a BH. Could never see it worth the additional cost and when I did buy one (BX25) I did it based on my having 6 septic tanks on my rental property so usable and tax deductible. Now after having it for a few years doing the type tractor use for myself (home landscaping) and using Kubota Fs for all mowing then the BH has been almost as valuable as having a FEL. Can't see me not having a BH now.
If I were looking at bottom line dollars and a machine that fulfills the most needs for me I would choose a BX25 (FEL BH are included) vs a Bxx20 FEL any day. That comparison makes the BX25 (say $17000) vs the B2620 FEL $(I'm sure you have a price/number to plug in here)???. I'd buy the BX25 any and every day over these two comparisons......period.
There may be some dollars difference but the use difference for me of the one with a BH and the other without would be worth $3000 more to me for the one with the BH.
Good luck and drive slow on dry grass in turns and neither one with turf or R/I4s should make much difference in tearing up your yard or switch to a yard instead of a lawn.:drink:

Darn it John! Now you will try to convince me I need a grapple and a thumb!

This thing has spun out of control. If I had a few grand lying around, it'd be no problem. Keeping the cost down and minimal talk around Dodge will be the key to success.

I'd like this to be my last tractor, and if it's not a BX25D, at least the B's are hoe adaptable in the future. My demands are certainly the FEL, MMM, QA, Forks, and Front Blade. Now I find the B2620 is limited in availability, although it still is a mutt if I want the QA integrated part and piece from the LA504... Which has no blade. The B2650 ROPS replacement is another $2500 for Tier IV emissions garbage, which I don't want... Yada, Yada, Yada. Sitting here at the hospital waiting for results on my mother in law, I realize I'd better get more active and better my health. think I'm going to a push mower and wheelbarrow.

The picture also includes a larger bucket on a larger tractor. A BX can have a bucket and blower as well, the size of each would have to be in proportion to the tractor. But your comment was pointed *directly* at the work.
