Oil & Fuel ferguson f40 needs a new spring on the throttle linkage.

I have a ferguson f40 same as a massey ferguson 50. It is missing the govoner compasating spring on the throttle linkage. on the parts diagram its part 21. where does the govenor compasating spring attatch to off the linkage? Thanks

You might look at MF tractors with like engines. There may be similarities in the linkage.

I should have said on www.agcopartsbook.com did you check with AGCO to see if the part was available?

Go to Yesterday's Tractors webite. They most likely have the compensating spring in their Ferguson parts section.

I have the parts book, but it doesnt show where the spring attaches to from the throttle control lever. I have one on order should be here this week.
