Any way to make store strawberries taste better?

My grandfather always told us strawberries taste better if you put manure on them.

I think I heard that line on Hee Haw a few years ago, tell you what, If you try manure on yours , I will try cream on mine. post how it went.

Hmm asking how many strawberry plants is enough is like saying how many tomato plants do I need!

If you're not tossing a bunch unused back into the compost heap, you don't have enough.
