I don't think you need to jump on the guy Cat. hHe merely asked and you could have simply added your explanation as to why you thought it appropriate. As there is no other topic forum about "hot cars", I'm not sure where you'd put info like this. "Related topics" really doesn't fit if indeed its a tractor forum. Maybe "Front Porch" as I envision that as a forum to talk about anything. I myself enjoyed the offering since I'm an engine nut.

A little optimistic and slanted about that DM. What "Challenger" or "Cuda" could have caught him in reality is the car built on "Legendary Autos" or titled something to that effect. Its on Tuesdays @ 10 pm EDT. I think it is the most straight forward car programs out there. There is so much junk and classless auto shows all trying to copy one another its pathetic. If you like classic muscle cars, this is the show for you. They built a tube car based on a 71 Challenger and used dual turbos on a stroked hemi. The car made over a thousand hp. It absolutely annihilated a 458 Ferrari and had power to go to 230 mph or more but didn't have the aero to go along with it. Car was lifting when he got out of it @208 mph. Ferrari got to 218 but could not keep up with the Dodge in acceleration to this point.

My garage has had both Corvettes and Kubotas at the same time. Alas I traded my 2009 Corvette in on the 2012 RAM 3500, but I still miss that car! Awesome video for a bunch of reasons, most notable is that this "speedway" was only a few miles from our home in Katy. It's a great road they just opened in February - VERY smooth...

If it's speed y'all like to see check out this Top Gear clip of a Bugatti Veyron. It can't match the sound of the Corvette but still impressive for 267mph.

The Vette is very cool, but if that Challenger had been a top fuel dragster...... The Vette could have passed him at the starting line doing 200mph and the dragster still would have beat him to the end of the quarter mile. I'm not sure how this is relevant either, but I think its cool.
