My son likes the looks of the LeSabre Limited. It's fully loaded, it's like a mini limo.
He prefers the Buick over his buddies tuner cars, although I suspect he would
really like a Hemi RT Challenger (me too!).

I know you guys have it bad but at least it is a one time deal. In VA we have yearly inspections.

I think yearly may be better. You should see some of the POS vehicles on the road over here. Plus they don't hit you as hard since they get a crack at you every year. I would guess the average inspection cost in the People's Repulik is between $500 - $750, higher if you appear not to have a mechanical clue.

I live pretty close to MD. I don't really see a difference in the cars in MD or VA. I know the guys with hot rods do away with the emissions equipment in MD were in VA you have to have all that junk to pass a inspection. I just don't like other people driving my vehicles even though it is only from the parking lot to the inspection bay and I don't like them messing with my vehicle i.e. slamming the wheels on with an air wrench.

Regals had stainless steel exhaust. Just that is worth few bucks in repair or (lack of it) cost.

Most of the POS cars in the People's Republik are located in PG and Baltimore Counties as well as Baltimore City (poorer urban areas). Once per lifetime inspection is good for me, my vehicles are well maintained, saves me a lot of time and hassles. Don't get me started on the VEIP program.
