I love politics and enjoy discussing it, but refused to be a part of it on here because of how it changed how I felt about some of the people on here. Sometimes it's just better to focus on the positive and enjoy what we have in common then trying to win an argument. In my opinion, creating the Friendly Politics section on here was one of the biggest mistakes those who own and run this site could have ever made. And yes, I've been deleted and told to behave numerous times and I'm sure I'll cross the line again in the future.

I am with Eddie on this one. I have never posted or read Friendly Politics. I have been deleted from regular posts twice in the past year. Both times because I don't believe the present administration has been good for our country. It seems I need to relearn my lesson every 6 months.
I just find it impossible to believe there could be more " Takers than Workers " on TBN.

It serves a purpose, keeps politics out of the other forums and it's a news source for those interested in the subject. In my opinion, creating it wasn't a mistake. The problem was the trolls that turned it into Unfriendly Politics. Hopefully that problem has now been rectified.

I agree with you rekees, it's a good area that could and should be pruned more often.

With the elimination of several, I see the arena becoming like the politics section of other forums, where there are only a few that post, and they are all in agreement, and the section, slowly loses interest. Some have less than a couple of postings each week. Maybe that is what is desired here, and that is not my decision to make, but having less dissent will make for a more boring section. Discussion will grind to a halt, when only like minds can/will participate.

I think you may be in for a big disappointment ...
We thought you were lost in action, oh, how nice you're still with us. HS

I remember when it was created, it was to get the politics out of the other forums, especially Rural Living. It seemed to do that pretty well. I never had any interest in joining the politics forum. I have been amazed at how upset folks can get discussing religion and politics.
