I have posted a number of warnings in the FP forum about the moderation issue. I said that if we have to moderate, you will get removed. It's that simple. If you have been removed and want to be reinstated, send me a PM and we can discuss it. But to be honest I don't see the FP forum lasting much longer based on recent discussions. I opened it after many years of people asking for it, but it seems that the nature of the political climate and discussions of this nature has resulted in the quality of discussions going down hill recently.

While it is my goal for TBN to provide the best overall community experience for all members, we will not let one forum stain the entire community. Since the politics forum is so far outside of the realm of tractors (with few exceptions), if it becomes a big enough distraction for me, our moderators, and our support staff, then we're going to close it down. We don't care about post counts, traffic to that forum, or any other theories that have been suggested.

I realize it's probably difficult for you to control your emotions RobertBrown..
Yes of course you did realize that and I appreciate your compassion in that regard. I really need your help.... dealing with my emotions and all.

Thanks for that! I love you man ! :cloud9: How about a cyber hug?

I was removed quite a while ago and I really do not care to go back
As many have testified, to much rancor, (I know I was part of it)

So I do not really care if you delete it or not

Actually since I was removed I have weaned myself away from TBN quite a bit, and should probably wean myself some more.

For a limited time only, we will be offering "I was not friendly" user titles for those members of "the club" who are interested. :drink:

Not all business makes it, many go out of business because they don't know their customers.
As someone who has been here here for roughly 10 years, and has observed the phenomenal growth that has occurred over that period of time, not knowing one's customers is probably the last thing I'd want to ascribe to the owners of this site.

The numbers alone refute that contention.

Not saying I know the numbers, someone mentioned 2.5%, that would be devastating to lose 2.5% of your traffic.
I dunno if I'd say devastating ... and at any rate, I'm not sure that either the two of us - or any of the others that are FP persona non grata - account for anything near 2.5% of TBN's traffic (which is different than actual posts) ... although I do recognize that you post outside of FP far more than I do.

I'd bet I spend more time and you yourself than 99% of the average members.
Could be ... but don't sell the lurkers - people that read but don't actually post - short ... they could account for a substantial portion of the traffic (number of clicks) ...

The question is do members like us drive away more people traffic than we contribute. New people don't get exposed right away because of the 50 post rule. That's the question owner has to evaluate. HS
I'd agree ... that is the question (Although I'm not sure the 50 post rule is still in effect)

My guess - which as I say is based on seeing the actions of site owners elsewhere - is that the answer is possibly one you (and others) might not care for.

Me ?

I have no illusions on the matter ... which helps to avoid setting oneself up for disappointments ... ;)

No, thank you. But good luck dealing with your emotions and all. I sincerely wish you well.

Yeah, your anti Semitic stance and harping on Israel and promoting terrorists camps and their cover parties as legitimate, promoting a hate group (BDS) has destroyed my TBN experience. You'll have to buy a tractor and begin to post in other threads. HS

I'm not a fan of rswyan's style, but the BDS discussion isn't as simple as you are describing. Zionism means more than one thing. For example, I have Jewish friends and relatives. Some follow Jesus. Jews who follow Jesus are persecuted by some of these Zionists in Israel. It is likely that Christians are supporting organizations that are on the one hand promoting Israel in a nationalistic sense, and on the other hand are persecuting the very Church that is supporting them. I'm sure I over simplified it, but it is a complex issue worthy of discussion.

At the same time, I see the lack of concern over Palestinian violence as an issue. But rswyan deflected that by insisting you start a thread dedicated to that. How that would have worked, is unknown. As no such thread was begun, AFAIK.

Another issue was general comments made against the entire Muslim culture. That has been pointed out many times. But not retracted by you, AFAIK. One of the things that probably amuses rswyan, is that Israel is only a small part of the Semitic people. To condemn Arab Muslims is also anti-semitic.

Rudeness is a big part of the potential demise of the FP section. But the above issues are also a part of it.

Love would be helpful. As it is necessary to the success of man.
