which loader is this?

I bought my ym1700 2wd for $2800 refurbished off a guy, and for extra $400 i got this. o/s cyl. measure 1.75",top measures 21.5"L . Buckets are 1.75 dia.x18.5"L both have i/s rams at 1". No stamped numbers anywhere, can't find any markings either. This tractor runs and operates like a dream. Going to order the new hydr. add-on pcs. from Hoye Tractor Parts for press. side and return side. so, i don't have to cut any lines. Never been a fan of having alot of fittings all over the place. Thanks for your help n advance. Jim

Welcome aboard. :welcome: And thanks for the picitures. Nice looking tractor. I don't fully understand the loader. Is the arm with the plate on it going back toward the driver made for the control valve? Normally, there would be some frame attachment down low going up the the front of the tractor. Yours many have it and I just don't see it. Attaching a picture showing what I am talking about.

Thanks Cosper, it looks closer to the Kelley dl1000 than any i've seen. And Winston, thanks to you too. For the pic, you are correct i didn't put a pic in of what they had for a stabelizer bar. I am in the process of makeing a little bit heavier one, something along the lines of the one in your picture. Will add pics ltr. today of what it came with, then what i'am making instead. One other thing was wondering, does this tractor always make a louder than normall clapping sound when running? I've heard they do until they warm-up, and then they still are alittle noisy. Anyways this is a awesome compact tractor, that will do what i need it to for a cheap price. I was raised that if you take care of what you have, it will last longer than you. Winsto1 can you send me pics of the front and belley mount pics of yours? Thanks for your help. Jim

Yes, the 2 cylinder Yanmars are famous for the "Yammer Hammer". Not good with a camera but did try.

Then again i guess its how you run your lines. I will get manuals next month. Going back out to do some measureing. Txs again..

I have a VN refurbed tractor. The lines were cut and compression fittings used. I have since replumbed my loader valve with power beyond and added quick disconnects for loader removal. Guessing your loader valve will have a power beyond port.

Check with your local Swagelok distributor for an adapter if you decide to cut the pressure line. I was rather surprised at the inexpensive cost when I installed them on my 1500D. The pressure line on my 3110D is the same diameter as the 1500D (12mm for both), there is just a lot more of it to work with on the larger tractor.

The Swagelok part number is S-12M0-1-6 for a 12mm compression to 3/8" NPT adapter. Cost was $6.50 each as of May2013. Pretty inexpensive for something with the Swagelok name on it and definitely cheaper than $22+ each for an adapter from tractor parts suppliers. The product page link is here. There are also different configurations available.

There will still be hoses ran forward to the adapter plates/discs if you choose that method. Cutting the line can give you some flexibility with the installation location and hose routing.

Like Mr. Winston stated, install with a 'power beyond' port if that is available on your control valve. It will require one additional hose for the tank return, but the loader and 3-point lift will act as two separate circuits with high and low pressure on the proper sides of the spool valves as designed.

See post #82 under Power Beyond vs Series for loader valve? - Page 9 for the way that I plumbed my tank return on the 1500D. I have also attached pictures below of the installed adapters. Overall, I am happy with the install, but the loader is too big for the 1500D and will have to come off.

Hope this helps a little with ideas.
