This is what the wind did to a gate chain latch last night.

It was in the center of two 10' pipe gates that swing together like saloon doors. Never thought the wind could push them enough to do this, not much drag on a pipe gate I wouldn't think.

This is a pic of survey monument I found a couple of weeks ago. Its on the edge of a town on the Mississippi River called Dallas City Illinois. Its a monument used as a triangulation station.

I would have thought so but they were pulled out toward the road, not in. Also, it was unlocked and this was all that was keeping it closed.

Trust me, we had some good winds last night.

An Eagle trying to decide which way to go ,Hwy"T", or str8 on "N". We have afew around us, Big As* nests, almost 9' across.
