Orange tractor 45 HP comparison

What is funny is, I dont even have any kubota orange paint:laughing:

All the paint I use for touch-up, implements, etc. Is old AC orange:D

I don't either in the orange color, I have been using the VanSickle Kubota II orange. I do have the Kubota dark charcoal, and it is a really good match for the Kioti underparts also.

Is the L4400 a shuttle or HST? That's a very fair price, especially if it's HST. A Kioti DK45SE would compete power wise, and probably has a few more features and a stronger loader. A new DK45SE HST sells around here for around $23k.

If you're looking at shuttle shift, you can also look at the DS 4510... Same power specs as the DK, same loader, a few less features and no hydro option, but it will also be a couple thousand less than the DK.

Both orange tractors are good ones, but the Kioti is known to be a better value.

The Kubota was a HST model. It is a nice tractor, looks almost new. I believe it is 2 years old. Not sure if the tractor warranty will transfer to me - neither do I know what both the orange tractors offer for warranty. I guess I need to compare before I buy. Thanks guys for all the details.

Ask your dealership questions. When I was looking the Kioti dealerships were dealers that had been in business for decades but only carried the Kioti line for a short time then dropped them. When I asked questions they didn't readily have the answers so I was turned off. The current dealer has now carried them for 3 or 4 years, something that adds value to me. Since I'm not planning on replacing my tractor for at least 20 years I haven't stopped in but still feel good about the brand.

One thing, at least around here, is that used Kubotas hold their value.

Can't really add much that hasn't already been said, but sometimes people forget that Kubot and Daedong teamed up to produce the Kubota "02" series of tractors. Evidently even Kubota felt Daedong was capable of making good stuff (transmissions, bodywork, etc), and the relationship lasted for over ten years.

Short version....Kioti makes good machines.

I think the Kioti and LS warranties are 5 years compared to 2 years on the Kubota. Not sure about Mahindra but it may also be 5 years.

Both very good tractors!

My brother in law has a 4400 and loves it, bout 8-9 years old and close to 1000 hrs, no problems at all.

I've run Kubotas' since the early 80s' and they have always done me very well.
Never needed a warranty! :)

Bota warranty is 2yr bumper to bumper, 3yr powertrain. That used Bota will have a little warranty left. ;-)

Mahindra is 5 yr. also. I think someone beat me to it, but Kioti did make some tractors for Kubota at one time, that's where the orange came from (or so I'm told). Daedong made the engine in my Mahindra eMax 22.
