Ok here goes a question, I stepped on the out rigger getting on the hoe ( I know dumb on my part, Live and learn) and broke the straight metal piece of the hose before the feral nut. when I took the hose off of the nipple, the threads on the hose side were stripped. I took the hose and nipple to my local NAPA store and he was able to make me the hose but said he didn't have the nipple in that size. so then I went to a Hydraulic supplier and they had no idea what size it was and said to try a tractor dealer so we have a bota dealer near by and they also didn't have it and I won't repeat what they told me. so I came home and looked it up in my owners manual and made sure from the MIE site.
I called my dealer and gave them the Part # 6004-0205 Nipple PF1/4 O-Ring 1/2x20UNF they sent me two in the mail and when I tried to install the nipple in the block that's welded on the cylinder it will not fit. so I'm kinda confused. has anyone else had this problem and does anyone recommend just running a tap in to chase the threads.

I just wanted to say this is a great forum to get answers for problems.

Call Bob from MIE and ask him. He is very good and you should have bought the parts from him anyway.

Some Kioti fittings are hard to find, so go to a reputable dealer like MIE and get it done right the first time.
For future reference, best to create your own thread to get the most and best replies instead of jumping into one like this, which is going nowhere fast. And a lot of bota dealers know where their competition lies so they often shine one on when it comes to being helpful regarding anything Kioti parts.
