Fordson in scrap yard.

I was at the scrapyard in Salem Oregon. Saw a diesel fordson major on the yard. Looked pretty complete. Guy said obe of the mechanic fired it up and ran it around the yard. Worker bee said likely would sell for 2k.....just fyi.

$2000 Seems fair if it runs, drives and has fair tires on it.

Always sad to see a 'working' tractor in a scrap yard. Unfortunately, it's probably the same (or variation) of the this old story: seller sold the farm or parent passed on (child living else where)....was advertised for long as possible until land sold...new owners didn't want, so it gets hauled off to the yard.....

Yeah it is pretty sad...unfortunately I can only save a few...and this one is not in the budget at the moment.

Well it took a while but here are some picts. It is still there as of 4/9/14. Guys says $1800.00. Says it runs and is diesel. No other details available. Looks reasonably complete though.
