Why push nuke, there is lots of oil and gas for thousands of years to come. It's the all natural fuel.I think it would. While a moderate liberal, the only way we are going to get ahead is to push nuke / fusion energy. Solar and wind cannot produce enough to make up for Coal. Not at this point anyway. Nuke technology (the latest versions) are very safe, use most of the fuel leaving much less waste, and generate tons of energy on a small scale. Saddly the US has not fostered, or should I say, promoted, the new ways that nuke plants could work, instead we rely on 50 year old design because it is tried and true (and unsafe). Instead it has let fear (both liberal and conservative if you want to be political) manage the message. If reading is not your thing this is a good way to get a start on the pro nuke conversation. Has anyone done any experimenting with alcohol for gas powered cars or tractors?
